Guidelines used by CPD Approved Courses and Rating Sub-committee to determine CPD ratings

In assessing and rating a learning event or programme for CPD approval, the SABPP considers the following aspects:

• Coverage, with reference to the description of the scope of the event;
• Duration in hours;
• Level, with reference to the SABPP levels of registration and the equivalent NQF levels;
• Renewal – the extent to which the event 
  • Describes the latest information
  • Explains the latest information
  • Applies the latest information
  • Expands or improves on the latest information

• Assessment, with reference to the measurement of learning (delegate feedback, tests, assignments, etc).
