CPD Course Guide


In assessing and rating a learning event the SABPP considers the following aspects:

  • Coverage or width with reference to the description of the scope of the event;
  • Assessment: Indicating measurement tool (test, assignment, portfolio, etc.)
  • Duration of event in hours
  • Level with reference to the SABPP levels of registration;
  • Renewal - on a four point scale the extent to which the event:
    • Describes the latest information ......................................1
    • Explains the latest information...........................................2
    • Applies the latest information ...........................................3
    • Expands and improves on the latest information ........4
