ETQA Assessor and/or Moderator Registration



With reference to the following qualifications and all the unit standards within them:

• ID 49692
• ID 49793
• ID 49794
• ID 58802
• ID 66069

  • All HR Assessors and Moderators must be professionally registered with SABPP except SkillsDevelopment Facilitation (SDF) Assessors and Moderators for whom professional registrationis not a requirement, although it is recommended.
  • If not already professionally registered with the Board (excluding SDF practitioners), thisprocess must be completed before the Board can proceed with HR Assessor and/or HRModerator registration. See our website www.sabpp.co.za for professional registration forms,fees and other information.
  • Please complete the Application Form to register as an HR Assessor and/or Moderator
  • Attach a copy of your ETDP SETA “Letter of Endorsement” or “Statement of Results” inrespect of ID 115753 and/or ID 115759

NB: If you do not yet have the ETDP SETA credentials,kindly approach an ETDP accredited provider for a course or for RPL. (See www.etdpseta.org.za for a list of accredited providers for Assessment and Moderation).

In addition to submitting proof of professional registration with the SABPP (if applicable), ETDPSETA Letter of Endorsement/Statement of Results for ID 115753 and/or ID 115759 and an up-todateCV, you will be required to provide:
  • Evidence of your subject matter expertise in the specific area/s for which you are applyingfor HR Assessor and/or Moderator Registration
  • Evidence of assessment and/or moderation activities in the last three years
Upon registration, you will be required to sign a Declaration committing yourself to fair andethical conduct as an HR Assessor and/or Moderator.





Evaluating assessment and internal moderation practices and facilitating external moderation will be undertaken by different External HR Moderators, where applicable, to ensure that the processes are valid, reliable and unbiased.
